A new study (jezebel.com) discovered that men have better spatial memory -- or the memory that is responsible for navigation. How did researchers discover this? They sat outside a mall with a large parking lot and asked shoppers as they were leaving to describe where they parked their car and to estimate the difference. Women used landmarks to describe where they parked, while men remembered by distance. It turns out men were more accurate, and of the 14% of shoppers who were totally lost, most of them were women.
